"Vintage Style Soldered Book"

All supplies included
A mini book will be covered with glass ,wrapped and solder. This class is for everybody no soldering skills necessary. We will add a pencil, lace and rhinestones. I will provide a variety of images and students are welcome to bring their own images.
Please bring needle nose pliers and Elmer's Glue.
If you wish to use an image of your own
it needs to be 4 1/2" x 3" in size.

Patina Cuff Class with Tara Wilson~ Saturday, April 28th 11-3 $75.00
In this class the student will learn 4 methods to age or patina brass, 3 methods for adding color to the brass and how to set a rivet by hand. I will supply all the needed materials and have kits for the class plus extras to purchase. We get messy and work with paints etc so I suggest an apron or work clothes. If a student has a bench block and a small jewelry hammer they can bring them. I will have all the tools needed for students to share. I supply extra brass pieces for the students to experiment with patina and color before they begin their cuff.

Have you seen those beautiful antique bottles with soldered crystals, sea shells, crosses and other mixed media at Anthropologie and other hip establishments? Wondered how they were made? I'll show you!! No experience necessary!
Bring your soldering iron and solder and learn how to make a personalized charm necklace and crystal bottle stopper for your vintage bottle. Fee includes a bottle and rhinestone piece, chain, jump rings, beveled glass and crystal as well as most soldering materials. These are SO much fun to make! Want to make it look old? I'll show you that too! Please bring a soldering iron with stand, sponge, cross lock tweezers (optional) and lead free solder along with some jewelry pliers and cutters. My soldering iron of choice is a Hakko 455 or 503 available at Fry's electronics or Amazon.com for under $45.
Canfield DGS is a great lead free solder.

Crafting Your Inner Pixie
In this class students will learn to sculpt paint, dress and finish a sweet miniature scale pixie from paper clay. Students will also craft a mixed media matchbox for the Pixie to live in when she's not on display. Price $75.00 including all supplies except paintbrushes (bring your own) and optional embellishments
